Lodges with hot tubs in [County]
Every park in [County] we’ve reviewed. Private hot tubs, dog policies, drive times from the nearest three cities, and honest verdicts on which lodge suits which household.
Yorkshire runs three lodge geographies at once, and they price differently. The Dales cabins around Grassington and Hawes sit at £180 to £240 a night with a private tub. The North York Moors parks near Pickering and Whitby run £160 to £220. The east coast holiday centres (Reighton, Filey) are cheaper again but the private-tub inventory is thinner. All three are inside a 90-minute drive of Leeds, York or Sheffield.
Three we would book
Ravenstor Retreat, Dales. Timber cabin above Wharfedale, sleeps 4, private tub heated on arrival, log fire, dog-friendly for one dog. Verdict: the pick for a quiet couple’s break. Price band £190 to £240 a night. Hot tub Y.
Cropton Forest Cabins, Moors. Independent operator on the fringe of Cropton woodland, sleeps 6, private tub, wood-fired pizza oven. Dark-sky reserve overhead. Verdict: best value in the county for a family of four. Price band £170 to £220 a night. Hot tub Y.
Hollicarrs Woodland, York fringe. Sykes-listed cabin park 15 minutes south of York, sleeps 4, private tub, kids’ play field. Verdict: good for households pairing the lodge with a day in York. Price band £160 to £210 a night. Hot tub Y.
Three tips before you book
Confirm the tub is at temperature on Friday arrival, not Saturday morning. Ask the park for the specific cabin number and check it on the site map (avoid anything within 30m of the entrance road). Bring wellies from October to April: the Dales tracks turn quickly.
