A family lodge with a hot tub is a specific brief: enough sleeping space, a kitchen for six, a tub the parents can use once the children are down, and on-site or door-adjacent activity that doesn’t need a car. Prices run £190 to £320 a night depending on operator and week. Below, three that deliver against the brief.
Three we would book
Bluestone National Park, Pembrokeshire. Cabin park with indoor Blue Lagoon water park, sleeps 4 to 6, private tub on most grades. Verdict: the sweet spot for children 4 to 14. Price band £220 to £340 a night. Hot tub Y.
Center Parcs Sherwood, Nottinghamshire. Executive Lodge with private tub, sleeps 6, indoor tropical pool, bike hire on site. Verdict: the reliable pick when structured activity is the point. Price band £260 to £420 a night. Hot tub Y.
Darwin Forest, Peak District. Elite grade cabin, sleeps 6, private tub, indoor pool and kids’ club on site. Verdict: honest family value for a Midlands or northern household. Price band £190 to £260 a night. Hot tub Y.
Three tips before you book
Book at least 6 months out for school-holiday weeks: the good grades vanish first. Ask for a cabin near the play area if the children are small. Confirm the tub cover is child-safe and the temperature is set below 38C.
